Cobh, pronounced like "Cove" and formerly known as Queenstown (1849-1920), is the cruise ship port for Cork on the south coast of the Republic of Ireland.
It is known as being the last port for the RMS Titanic before it was lost at sea.
We arrived here on the cruise ship for a day tour of the area north of Cork.

We were told an eccentric millionaire bought this old "castle" and spent millions to convert it to his home.
Note the fanciful metal tree on the roof.
